Booking terms and conditions
By making a booking with Shannon’s Aesthetics, operated by Shannons Aesthetics Clinic Ltd, you confirm that you understand and agree to the following terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms may result in the loss of your non-refundable booking fee.
1. Non-refundable booking fee and payment
To secure your treatment appointment, a 50% non-refundable booking fee is required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance is due on the day of treatment and must be paid via card using our card machine.
The booking fee secures your allocated treatment time and cannot be transferred, refunded, or used for another client.
For consultations, a consultation fee is required to secure your appointment. This fee will either be refunded following attendance or redeemed against a treatment price within 3 months.
2. Cancellations and rescheduling
Any cancellation or request to reschedule must be made at least 72 hours before your appointment. Failure to provide the required notice will result in the loss of your non-refundable booking fee.
Same-day cancellations or failure to attend your appointment will result in full payment liability for the remaining treatment balance.
Clients may reschedule their booking via the link provided in their appointment confirmation email, provided the 72-hour notice requirement is met.
Appointments may be rescheduled a maximum of two times with a minimum of 72 hours’ notice.
Following two reschedules, any further request to change an appointment will require the remaining treatment balance to be paid in full before a new appointment date can be secured.
If the remaining balance is not paid, no further appointment dates will be offered and the booking will be cancelled. The original booking fee will be retained.
3. Age requirements
All clients must be aged 18 years or over at the time of treatment.
If you are unable to provide valid identification when requested, treatment will not proceed and your booking fee will be forfeited.
Children are not permitted on the premises. Arrival with anyone under the age of 18 may result in cancellation of treatment and loss of the booking fee.
4. Medical suitability and safety
You must inform Shannon’s Aesthetics prior to booking if you:
are taking any medications;
have any diagnosed medical conditions;
have a history of anaphylaxis;
have an autoimmune disorder;
are taking immune-suppressing medication.
This information is required to determine whether treatment is safe and suitable.
You must not receive a seasonal flu vaccination within one week before or after your treatment.
We cannot treat you if you:
are unwell;
have an infection (including viral, bacterial, or cold sores);
are pregnant;
are breastfeeding;
are less than 6 weeks post-partum.
We cannot treat you if you have had surgery or have surgery planned within 2 weeks either side of your appointment.
It is recommended that you attend a consultation before booking any treatment. Shannon’s Aesthetics reserves the right to decline treatment where it is considered unsuitable, unsafe, or not clinically appropriate.
For Botulinum Toxin treatments, you must attend a face-to-face consultation with a qualified prescriber before treatment to ensure the procedure is safe and suitable. Treatment appointments must allow sufficient time for prescription approval. Failure to comply may result in loss of your booking fee.
5. Treatment policies
Cosmetic tattooing top-ups must be booked within 4–6 weeks of the initial treatment. Top-ups within this period are included. Failure to attend within the required timeframe may result in an additional charge.
Discounts, packages, and offers cannot be combined with other promotions or loyalty discounts.
Loyalty discounts apply to one treatment only and will be applied to the treatment of lowest value.
6. Late arrivals
Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may not be able to receive their treatment. The appointment may be cancelled and the booking fee will be forfeited.
7. Third-party cancellations
If Shannon’s Aesthetics must cancel or rearrange an appointment, we cannot reimburse travel costs or any additional expenses incurred.
8. Practitioner responsibility
Treatments and services provided through Shannon’s Aesthetics are delivered by Shannon Simpson, Director of Shannons Aesthetics Clinic Ltd.
Historical booking arrangement
Between 01.03.2026 and 01.07.2026, Independent Nurse Aimee Penney utilised the Shannon’s Aesthetics booking platform for appointment scheduling and clinical administration purposes.
During this period, Aimee Penney remained an independent practitioner and was solely responsible for her own clinical practice, treatments, clinical records, patient care, aftercare, complaints management, and professional indemnity.
Current arrangement
From 01.07.2026 onwards, Aimee Penney manages all appointments through her own independent booking system.
Patients requiring information regarding bookings, payments, treatment enquiries, aftercare, complications, complaints, refunds, or any other concerns relating to treatments provided by Aimee Penney must contact Aimee directly.
This arrangement ensures clarity regarding practitioner responsibility and supports timely communication, particularly where patients require post-treatment support, complication management, urgent advice, or wish to raise concerns regarding their care.
Patients treated by Aimee Penney acknowledge that Shannon’s Aesthetics does not have access to Aimee Penney’s booking records, clinical documentation, payment information, or patient communications generated through her independent systems.
Aimee Penney is not employed by, affiliated with, or acting on behalf of Shannons Aesthetics Clinic Ltd and remains solely responsible for all aspects of her own clinical practice.
Appointments booked through Shannon’s Aesthetics booking system are appointments with Shannon Simpson unless explicitly stated otherwise.
